Biotechnology Analyst

Role: Full-time, Permanent Contract

Location: Schimatari, Greece (free company bus provided from Athens & Chalkida)

Working Hours: Monday – Friday 09:00 - 17:00/07:30-15:30, future shift 13:30-21:30

The Role:

Your responsibilities will include:

• Perform a wide variety of tests (electrophoresis, IES, immunoblotting, RP/SE/CEX HPLC, bioassays, cell culture), in accordance to GMP requirements and SOPs.


• Complete analysis accurately on any pharmaceutical product, in-process material, raw material or stability sample.


• Collect, calculate and record analysis of data.


• Promptly report any deviations or out of specifications result and assist where required with investigations.


• Prepare reagents/solutions and comply with good laboratory practices.


• Act as an active member of the team and be part of the laboratory by participating in daily operations such as waste management, sterilization, glassware washing, media and consumable receipt etc.


• Draft SOPs or other protocols and reports according to the laboratory needs.


• Follows and complies to all good practices (GMP, GDP), to the Quality Management System, regulatory requirements, internal processes and procedures, company guidelines, the corporate governance code, the Health Safety and Environment (EHS) procedures and good practices and all company policies and regulations, and actively contributes to their improvement.


• Ensures and protects data integrity in every action.


• Undertakes any other project or responsibility that is assigned by the company, within the broader scope of the position’s responsibilities.

The Person:

• Basic knowledge of biochemistry (gel-based electrophoresis, capillary electrophoresis) and analytical techniques (RP/SE/CEX HPLC) would be considered an asset.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Fluent in Greek & English.

• Knowledge of MS office apps.
