The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall technical and operational performance of the plant, ensuring optimal equipment functionality, regulatory compliance, environmental performance, and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  Oversee the day-to-day operation of the biogas plant, ensuring safe and efficient performance.

  Monitor and optimize the operation of mechanical, electrical, and process equipment, as well as biological digestion processes.

  Plan, coordinate, and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

  
  


• 
  

  Monitor plant performance, operational parameters, and process data to maximize efficiency and reliability.

  
  


• 
  

  Organize and supervise the supply of organic feedstock and other raw materials required for plant operation.

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure full compliance with environmental regulations, operating permits, and health & safety standards.

  
  


• 
  

  Diagnose technical issues, troubleshoot equipment failures, and coordinate corrective actions.

  
  


• 
  

  Lead, supervise, and train the plant operations team, promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

  Prepare operational reports and maintain accurate maintenance and performance records.

  
  


• 
  

  Collaborate with internal departments and external contractors to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.

  
  

Requirements

• 
  

  Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.

  
  


• 
  

  Minimum 2–3 years of experience in biogas, wastewater treatment, industrial processing, power generation, or similar industrial facilities.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong understanding of industrial equipment, maintenance practices, and process operations.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, engineering documentation, and operating manuals.

  
  


• 
  

  Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

  Excellent command of the English language.
