ICT ADMINISTRATOR

Shipping company in Nothern Suburbs is seeking a qualified ICT Administrator to join its ICT team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Monitor, maintain, and support ICT infrastructure, systems, and end-users both at HQs and across the fleet.


• Conduct vessel attendances for onboard ICT installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting.


• Ensure seamless operation of satellite communications, vessel networks, and security protocols.


• Collaborate with internal departments and external service/system providers.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• BSc/Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.


• Proven experience in maritime ICT systems, vessel network infrastructure, and satellite communication providers (e.g., Navarino, Marpoint, Marlink, GT Maritime).


• Strong technical background in Hypervisors (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM) and Operating Systems (Windows / Linux).


• Hands-on experience with Network & Security administration (Firewalls, Routing, Backups/DR).


• Experience with Danaos ERP environment will be considered a strong plus.


• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with willingness to travel/board vessels as required.
