Transportation & Route Planning Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced professional who will contribute to the smooth operation of our Logistics Department, support the development of their team, and drive continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Plan and coordinate daily transportation routes for the company's fleet and third-party carriers.

·      Monitor fleet operations in real time using telematics and GPS tracking systems.

·      Communicate with drivers, providing guidance and resolving issues during transportation.

·      Manage WMS transactions related to inbound and outbound operations with 3PL warehouses.

·      Handle unexpected situations, such as vehicle breakdowns, traffic delays, and other transportation disruptions.

·      Maintain records and prepare reports on transportation costs, fleet performance, and operational efficiency.

·      Collaborate closely with the Warehouse, Sales, and Procurement departments to ensure the smooth execution of the daily distribution plan.

Requirements:

·      Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within Logistics, Transportation, or Distribution.

·      Degree or diploma from a Technical Institute, College, or University.

·      Experience with ERP and WMS systems (Entersoft is considered an asset), as well as Fleet Management and Routing Software.

·      Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and strong computer skills.
