Your main purpose
Develop and implement construction strategies for Ikos Kassandra, manage design packages, collaborating with consultants and contractors to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards, and manage the delivery team and oversee the delivery of all disciplines.
Ensure adherence to industry standards, codes, safety regulations (QHSE), and quality control through site inspections, ensuring the project meets timelines and budgets.
Review design packages, technical drawings, and materials submitted by consultants and contractors, and collaborate with stakeholders and relevant authorities to ensure delivery of the project in a timely manner and approved budget.
Identify potential design and installation issues and work proactively with contractors to resolve them, conduct site inspections, monitor quality, and ensure all work adheres to local and international building codes, standards, and regulations.
Provide engineering input for value engineering, resolve design issues, create method statements for safe execution, and lead, mentor, and develop construction managers, engineers, and site teams.
Manage risks related with construction and provide mitigation measures, review and approve construction progress certifications, manage project close out, and manage project snagging with contractor/s.
What will you bring?
A Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering is required, and Master in Construction Management is preferred.
Minimum 12 years of professional experience in construction or building service with proven hospitality projects delivery, and proven experience leading large, complex, multi-project CAPEX portfolios.
Excellent communication, negotiation, people management and organizational skills.
Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines, with a collaborative mindset to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders/authorities.
Extensive experience in guiding teams and handling complex, multifaceted projects, with a collaborative mindset to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Strong experience in executive-level reporting, and Fluent English and Greek required.
