Electrical & Electronics Design Engineer

ES Systems is seeking a motivated Electrical & Electronics Design Engineer (Junior–Mid Level) to join our engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who is eager to learn and grow through hands-on involvement in product development.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior engineers in the design and development of electrical and electronic systems, from concept through prototype validation and will enhance his/her professional experience. This role combines electrical - electronic schematics and PCB design with hands-on laboratory work to support the development, assembly, testing, and refinement of prototypes. The engineer will produce and maintain test and certification results and related technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design electrical and electronic schematics using CAD tools
• Design and test Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs)
• Create and maintain engineering documentation, including factory acceptance tests, Bills of Materials (BOMs), wiring diagrams, and manufacturing documentation
• Assist in the development, assembly, debugging, and validation of electronic prototypes
• Perform laboratory testing, troubleshooting, and measurements using standard electronic test equipment
• Support prototype integration, verification, and design improvements based on test results
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, and manufacturing engineers throughout the product development cycle
• Participate in component selection, design reviews, and engineering change implementation
• Ensure designs comply with applicable engineering standards and company design practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field
• Junior to mid-level engineering experience, or a recent graduate with strong academic performance and a passion for electronic product development
• Basic experience with KiCad
• Basic Experience designing electrical - electronic schematics and PCB layouts
• Basic Understanding of analogue and digital electronic circuits
• Ability to read and interpret electrical & electronic datasheets and technical documentation
• Practical laboratory skills, including soldering, assembly, debugging, and troubleshooting electronic circuits
• Familiarity with common laboratory instruments such as oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, bench power supplies, and function generators
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary engineering team

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience on similar to KiCad Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tool (e.g., Altium Designer, Autodesk Eagle, OrCAD, Cadence, Mentor Graphics)
• Basic Knowledge on embedded systems and microcontroller-based designs
• Basic Knowledge of EMC/EMI-aware PCB layout practices
• Familiarity with version control and engineering documentation processes
• Basic experience bringing products from prototype to production
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes for electronic products
