Procurement Officer (Buyer) (m/f/d)

A world leading International Printing Company is seeking to employ a Procurement Officer (Buyer) to join the team in Athens.

Our organization is a global leader in printing industry. We are looking for a hands-on Procurement Officer, who will be responsible to oversee the procurement of raw materials, components, and production supplies essential for our manufacturing operations. The candidate will work closely with our suppliers and our production teams to ensure cost-effective purchasing and uninterrupted production flow.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Manage the purchasing needs for our manufacturing processes in accordance with the group policies and guidelines.
• Execute RFI and RFQ.
• Create PO and monitor the prompt delivery to ensure the seamless operations in the production site.
• Check invoices and collect all documentation necessary.
• Monitor supplier performance and lead tines
• Review and analyze single supplier performance.
• Establish sustainable supplier relationships.
• Cooperate with the departments of the company and in the group.

 Experience, skills and qualifications required:

• Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or relevant studies.
• 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Fluency in English. Knowledge of German language will be considered as an asset.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Good knowledge of procurement modules in ERP systems. Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 will be considered as an asset.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to think analytical.
• Own good problem-solving skills.
• Have the ability to work independently
• Be self-motivated and result driven.
