Role Overview

Ethniki Asfalistiki is looking for a Junior Financial Analyst who will be a key member of our Finance team, providing support in a variety of financial analysis and activities, in collaboration with other company departments. The successful candidate will contribute in providing valuable insights by supporting management in making informed financial decisions, while gaining experience in a dynamic environment.

Main Responsibilities

• Collecting and analyzing financial data from various sources.
• Comparing actual results to budgets and analyzing variances.
• Preparing and developing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Collaborating with other departments to prepare reports for management.
• Creating a variety of reports with software tools (SAP, Excel).
• Identifying opportunities to support improvements in internal processes.
  
  

Candidate Job Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or a related field.
• Up to 3 years of experience in a similar position.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
• Quick learner with adaptability to new environments and challenges.
• Advanced communication skills and fluency in both English and Greek.
• No pending military obligations (for Greek male citizens).
  
  

Will Be Considered a Plus

• Master's degree, or ΜΒΑ in a relevant field.
• Experience in the insurance industry.
• Understanding and experience with IFRS 17 (Insurance Contracts).
