IT Manager

EFA Group is looking for an experienced and motivated IT Manager for its IT function and visit multiple EFA Group premises across the Attica region. EFA Group is a group of companies which operates worldwide and is active in the fields of Security, Defence, Offsets, Aviation, Cybersecurity and AI. The IT department acts as a core strategic pillar for EFA Group, guaranteeing smooth daily operations while maintaining IT security compliance and technical harmonization across all group entities.

The IT Manager will direct technology operations across the business, ensuring IT infrastructure, software solutions, and data systems comply with security standards and regulations while supporting the Group’s strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the IT operations team (IT Engineers, Senior/Staff IT Engineers): recruitment, onboarding, performance management, coaching and workforce planning
• Own day-to-day IT service delivery and ITSM processes (incident, request, problem and change management) with clear priorities, SLAs and escalation paths
• Accountable for availability, performance and security of core IT services (endpoints, identity, network, internet connectivity, collaboration platforms, backups)
• Plan and manage the IT budget, procurement and supplier relationships; oversee contracts, licensing and service provider performance against SLAs
• Define and execute the annual IT operational plan and technology roadmap for the area of responsibility, aligned with group standards and business priorities
• Ensure robust asset, configuration and documentation management (inventory/CMDB, standard builds, baselines, network diagrams and procedures)
• Coordinate with Information Security on cybersecurity controls, vulnerability remediation, incident handling and audit readiness; ensure secure operating procedures are followed
• Oversee business continuity and disaster recovery for IT services: readiness, testing, lessons learned and improvements
• Provide regular KPI reporting to management (service performance, ticket metrics, patch compliance, asset health, supplier performance, risk items)
• Ensure compliance with organization policies, procedures and instructions, including Health & Safety, Information Security policies, Code of Conduct, and environmental/recycling procedures

Requirements

• BSc degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field; postgraduate studies are a plus
• Typically 10+ years of IT experience with at least 3 years in a leadership/management role
• Strong understanding of enterprise IT operations (endpoints, identity, networking, cloud/M365) and the ability to manage both internal teams and external vendors
• Proven experience with IT service management practices (ITIL preferred), change control and operational governance
• Project delivery experience (planning, budgeting, risk management, stakeholder communication)
• Strong security mindset and experience operating in secure/regulated environments; ability to obtain/hold Security Clearance as required
• Excellent communication and leadership skills; strong problem-solving and decision-making under pressure
