Commercial Director – Animal Nutrition & Health (Cyprus)

A leading privately-owned Cypriot group operating across animal nutrition, animal health and related agribusiness sectors is looking for a Commercial Director (relocation to Cyprus). The group has grown significantly over the past five years and operates multiple commercial business units with a combined turnover in excess of €30M, serving customers across livestock, poultry, swine and companion animal segments.

This is a group-wide leadership role for someone who can own commercial performance end to end — setting strategy one moment and sitting across the table from key customers the next.

What you'll do

• Define and drive commercial strategy across all animal nutrition and health business units

• Lead and develop Business Unit Managers, building a culture of accountability and performance

• Own pricing, gross margin and key-account relationships across the portfolio

• Identify new product, channel and market opportunities

• Coordinate closely with purchasing, marketing, operations and finance to deliver results

• Report commercial performance (sales, margin, pipeline) directly to the Managing Director

What we're looking for

• 8–10+ years in commercial/sales leadership, ideally across multiple business units, brands or channels

• Background in animal nutrition, animal health, veterinary, agribusiness or a related technical/FMCG environment (strongly preferred)

• Proven P&L or revenue/margin ownership across a portfolio — not just a single product or territory

• Experience leading commercial managers and multi-layered sales teams

• Strong analytical ability with pricing, margin and credit data

• A credible, hands-on leader who builds trust with technical teams and senior stakeholders

• Fluent Greek and English; full driving licence and willingness to travel across Cyprus
