We’re looking for a Field Service Engineer for the business line of Haematology to help take our organization to the next level.

Sysmex Greece is a young and fast-growing subsidiary that has successfully completed its setup phase and is now strengthening its operations to support the next stage: the development of commercial activities in the Greek market. As part of a highly committed team, you will join at a key moment, contributing directly to building a strong, reliable, and customer-focused service organization.

In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of diagnostic equipment at customer sites, ensuring optimal system performance and minimal downtime. You will act as a key contact for laboratories, delivering high-quality technical support, and contributing to customer satisfaction through timely and effective service interventions.

We are looking for a proactive and solution-oriented professional with strong technical skills, a hands-on mindset, and communication abilities, who thrives in a customer-focused and fast-paced environment.


In this role you will:

  • Carry out installations and system commissioning, ensuring full functionality from the outset.
  • Perform corrective and preventive maintenance to guarantee optimal system performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently during on-site interventions.
  • Monitor installation quality and proactively identify and report potential improvements.
  • Provide basic technical training to customers following installation.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to laboratories, ensuring proper use and performance of Sysmex solutions.
  • Support Sales and Marketing teams during congresses, workshops, and customer events.
  • Contribute to business growth by supporting customer retention and identifying service-related opportunities.
  • Manage and maintain spare parts stock (car stock/workshop) to ensure rapid response times.
  • Accurately document and report all service and installation activities.
  • Ensure proper management of packaging and waste generated during field activities.


Job requirements

  • University degree or equivalent in engineering or biosciences
  • Advanced certificate in electronics and/or equivalent industry experience
  • Technical knowledge of electronic equipment (IVD). MS Office, database
  • Languages: Greek native, English fluent


Professional experience for the position:

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in IVD sector, preferably within a multinational organization
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer in haematology analysers
  • Proven ability to work independently in the field while collaborating effectively with internal teams
  • Proven hands-on experience in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of technical equipment
  • Experience working with service documentation, quality procedures and safety, health and environmental regulations
