Gerolymatos International S.A. is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Cost Expenditures Accountant to join our Accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career accounting professional to develop hands-on experience in financial operations while working alongside experienced professionals in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Main Responsibilities

• Support the accurate recording and maintenance of accounting entries in accordance with company policies, Greek GAAP, and IFRS.
• Process and register supplier invoices and expense documents, ensuring compliance with tax legislation and MyData requirements.
• Support the reconciliation of bank accounts and investigate discrepancies under the guidance of senior team members.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure proper filing of financial documentation.
• Collaborate with internal departments and suppliers to collect and verify accounting information.
• Perform additional accounting and finance-related tasks as assigned.
  
  

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Up to 3 years of experience in an accounting or finance department.
• Basic understanding of Greek GAAP, tax legislation, and accounting principles.
• Familiarity with ERP or accounting software will be considered an asset.
• Very good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Good command of the English language.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn, develop professionally, and work collaboratively within a team.
• Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
