About the job

The successful candidate will take part in the hardware development process of ES Systems’ new electronic systems, supporting applications in sensing, data acquisition, and high-speed communication. He / She will be responsible for the design of analog and high-speed digital circuits, requiring expertise in signal integrity analysis, impedance-controlled PCB layout, and differential signaling (LVDS). The candidate should have solid experience using modern lab tools and measurement equipment.


Principal Responsibilities

  • Analog and high-speed digital hardware design
  • PCB schematic capture and layout coordination
  • Signal integrity simulation and impedance matching
  • Prototype testing, validation, and debug
  • Technical documentation and reporting


Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Language Requirements

  • University Degree of Electrical/ Electronic Engineering, or equivalent science
  • Proven work experience of 5 years and more
  • Proven experience in analog design, high-speed digital design, and mixed-signal systems
  • Hands-on experience with impedance-controlled PCB design and LVDS interfaces
  • Excellent understanding of signal integrity of sensor systems, transmission line theory, termination strategies, and Data Acquisitions and Analysis
  • Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB design using Altium Designer
  • Proficient in using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc
  • Technical writing of reports, systems datasheets, test procedures, and hardware datasheets
  • Team oriented with excellent communication and cooperation skills
  • Proficiency in the English language is a must


Nice to have

  • Experience with DDR, USB, Ethernet, or SerDes high-speed interfaces
  • Familiarity with signal integrity analysis within Altium Designer
  • Experience with FPGA integration and related digital interfaces
  • Knowledge of EMC/EMI compliance and product certification processes
  • Exposure to RF or wireless systems
  • Experience in DFM/DFT and reliability engineering
  • Hands-on experience with thermal analysis and power integrity
