About the Role

The Laundry Attendant plays a key role in supporting the smooth operation of the resort by ensuring that all hotel linens and fabrics are cleaned, cared for, and delivered according to the highest quality standards. This position requires reliability, attention to detail, and close collaboration with other departments to ensure the timely and efficient fulfillment of the hotel's operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate washing machines, dryers, and finishing equipment efficiently and safely.
• Follow proper washing, drying, ironing, and sanitization procedures for various types of fabrics, including linens, towels, uniforms, and curtains.
• Use detergents, bleach, and other cleaning products correctly according to fabric type and condition to prevent damage.
• Ensure all laundered items meet the hotel's high standards of cleanliness and presentation before redistribution.
• Monitor and maintain stock levels of detergents and other laundry supplies.
• Keep the laundry area clean and organized while adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Support the team during busy operational periods and work flexible schedules as required.
• Collaborate with other departments (Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Management) to ensure the timely and efficient availability of clean linens.
• Perform any other related duties assigned by hotel management.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel environment.
• Strong knowledge of laundry procedures and the care of different fabric types.
• Ability to safely operate and perform basic maintenance of laundry equipment.
• Good understanding of health and safety standards within a laundry operation.
• Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays during peak periods.
• Team-oriented with excellent collaboration skills.
• Good command of either Greek or English.
