Role Overview

We are looking for a Techno-Functional Specialist (AI) for our client within the banking sector. In this role, you will act as a bridge between business stakeholders, technical teams, and AI initiatives, ensuring the successful coordination and execution of projects and operational activities. The ideal candidate combines strong technical understanding with business acumen, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to driving initiatives forward. This is not a pure development role; instead, the focus is on understanding systems, managing dependencies, facilitating collaboration, and supporting the adoption of AI technologies and solutions.

What you will be doing

• Act as the liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and AI-focused initiatives
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into clear functional and technical specifications
• Support the planning, coordination, and execution of projects, ensuring activities progress smoothly
• Identify dependencies, risks, and potential blockers, and coordinate with relevant teams to resolve them
• Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Assist in defining processes, workflows, and system requirements to support business objectives
• Participate in AI-related initiatives, use case identification, and implementation activities
• Gain expertise in AI tools and platforms, including technologies such as Claude Code and other AI solutions
• Collaborate with development, architecture, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure alignment
• Monitor project progress, follow up on action items, and ensure timely completion of deliverables
• Support system analysis, integrations, and process improvement initiatives
• Document requirements, processes, decisions, and project outcomes
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational efficiency and technology adoption within the organization

What will you bring

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related field
• Previous experience in a Techno-Functional, Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, IT Consultant, Project Coordinator, or similar role
• Strong understanding of software systems, applications, APIs, integrations, databases, and system architecture concepts
• Technical background, ideally with exposure to .NET environments and enterprise applications
• Ability to understand both technical challenges and business requirements
• Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting functional and technical requirements
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
• Ability to coordinate multiple activities and manage priorities in a dynamic environment
• Experience working in banking, financial services, or other regulated industries is considered an advantage
• Interest in Artificial Intelligence, automation, and emerging technologies
• Proactive, hands-on attitude with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
• Ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and drive initiatives to completion
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and functions
