MEP Manager Residential

We are looking for a MEP Manager to join our Residential team.

The MEP Manager of the Residential team will be responsible for all MEP services of the Residential projects from the initial project development phase to design and construction delivery phases


The MEP Manager will be reporting to the Development Director.

Key responsibilities:

Core competencies, knowledge & experience:

• Leading the planning and execution of all MEP services for Residential and mixed-use projects.


• Ensure that the Employer's requirements are captured and that all systems are safely integrated, code compliant, and successfully commissioned.


• Ensure that the MEP design intent and MEP design performance criteria are maintained through the construction process.


• Assist with the review and approval of MEP design drawings, calculations, technical submissions, shop drawings, samples of materials and components, catalog information, certificates of compliance and provide technical responses to Requests for Information (RFIs).


• Provide constructability, value engineering and cost feedback during design and throughout the MEP construction.


• Attend in the capacity of the MEP Subject Matter Expert (SME) design review meetings, progress meetings, interface meetings, risk management meetings, construction meetings and testing and commissioning meetings.


• Review, understand and follow up during construction the project scope and specifications along with the ITPs, drawings, material submittals and method statements for each work activity.


• Assist in problem solving and resolution of MEP issues in both Design and Construction.


• Assist in the Pre-development budgeting for new projects


• Assist in the development of time schedules for new projects


• Assist with the preparation and execution of MEP design and MEP construction contracts.


• Assist in managing and administering all contracts with appointed MEP Contractors / Subcontractors.


• Interviewing and qualifying of Contractor /Vendor candidates for the specific project need.

Academic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.


• Experience using MS Office, AutoCAD (Revit is +).


• Excellent command of the English language; any other language will be considered as an asset.


• Project Management certification will be considered an asset.

Professional Experience:

• Experienced in working on multi-disciplinary Projects (High rise experience will be considered as a plus).


• A high level of MEP ability Strong professional experience in Residential projects with 15 years or more on design / construction development experience.


• Have a strong experience in buildability & construction techniques.


• Basic commercial awareness of working within design budgets, including project and product cost constraints, traceability of commercial variations and recovery of additional costs.


• knowledge of industry standards, Greek Building Regulations, Euro-codes, American and British Standards.


• Proven track record on completing projects.
