For EDPS, we are currently seeking a competent and experienced POS Production Engineer.

Job Summary

For EDPS, we are currently seeking an enthusiastic POS Production Engineer to join our team. Throughout his/her journey the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the overall process of preparation, technical support and maintenance of POS terminals.

About The Role

  • Responsible for preparation and configuration of POS equipment
  • Responsible for product processes documentation and training materials
  • Responsible for performing remote support activity to solve POS functionality and/or operational issues
  • Assist with maintenance of POS servers and terminals
  • Ensure that POS security procedures are implemented and enforced
  • Ensure that service standards are established and attained
  • Carries out other tasks assigned

About You

To be considered for this role, here are the skills we’re looking for:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, IEK/TEI of relevant studies
  • 2+ years’ experience in a similar role in tech support, ideally in the field of payment transactions
  • Good knowledge of English language
  • Good computer skills in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn new applications quickly
  • Team player with strong communication skills, able to develop great relations with co-workers
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and hands on approach
  • Rapidity and accuracy
  • Highly organized, with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to multi task
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Resourceful with a problem-solving aptitude
