F&B - Hostel Supervisor

YellowSquare is looking for a Hostel Supervisor / Square Deputy with a strong F&B soul!

YellowSquare Athens is looking for a Hostel/Hotel Supervisor who will be the right hand of our Square Lover. While you will be a point of reference for the Reception, this role requires a solid, hands-on background in Food & Beverage.

You will act as the operational heartbeat of the hostel, ensuring that our bar, kitchen, and front-desk services blend seamlessly to keep the YellowSquare vibe alive. (Please Note: This is a 100% hands-on, operational role, not a desk job)

What you’ll be doing:

• F&B Leadership & Management: Oversee the daily operations of the Bar and Kitchen.


• Cross-Departmental Support: Work closely with the Reception team, understanding front-desk dynamics and being ready to step in, support guest check-ins, and manage guest relations.


• Team Guidance: Act as a daily point of reference for the Bar, Kitchen, and Front Desk staff—ensuring tasks are clear, shifts are well-coordinated, and team spirits are high.


• Quality & Vibe Control: Monitor service standards across all departments, resolve guest issues promptly, and ensure our food, drinks, and customer service consistently hit the spot.

What you should have:

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in hospitality, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. A proven, solid track record in F&B/Bar management is essential.


• Front-of-House Openness: While your expertise lies in F&B, you must be completely open and enthusiastic about managing and supporting the Reception.


• Leadership Skills: The ability to coordinate, motivate, and communicate effectively with diverse, multicultural teams.


• Problem-Solving DNA: A knack for handling the unexpected and staying cool under pressure during peak breakfast or busy night-bar hours.


• Languages: High proficiency in spoken and written English and Greek (any other language is a big plus).

What we offer:

• Salary: €22,000 - €25,000 gross per year, commensurate with your professional experience and skills.
