About us
ORA Hospitality is launching its flagship resort in Mykonos, Greece, scheduled for May 2027, and is currently building the team who will bring this project to life. The resort will mark the debut of a new ultra-luxury hospitality brand, currently under development. Located in the bay of Kalo Livadi, the property will feature 88 rooms and suites, alongside 5 private villas, specialty restaurants, wellness center, among other facilities.
ORA Hospitality is the luxury arm of ORA Developers, building a global portfolio of exceptional hotels and resorts designed to inspire how guests feel long after they leave. The collection includes the award-winning Silversands Grenada and Silversands Beach House in the Caribbean, with a growing pipeline of new destinations under development worldwide.

What you will do
- Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, coordinating with relevant departments to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial data. Ensure that monthly reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts are prepared, and all bank reconciliations are countersigned by Director of Finance on a monthly and on a quarterly basis.
- Have a solid knowledge of the Greek tax law to ensure full compliance with all applicable taxes including, but not limited, VAT, Stayover Tax, Municipal tax, Stamp duties or any other applicable levies. A solid knowledge of My Data platform regarding incomes and expenses submissions is a must.
- Guide the Accounts receivable Supervisor, ensuring robust internal controls are in place to protect the hotel’s financial assets and resources. Oversee daily revenue audits, ensuring that all income is correctly recorded and reconciled between the Opera PMS and the hotel’s ERP system. Investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Monitor credit card and direct billing transactions for accuracy and fraud prevention. Ensure proper authorization procedures and investigate chargebacks promptly.
- Guide the Accounts Payable Supervisor to ensure timely and accurate invoice processing, monitor AP aging, vendor reconciliations, and payment scheduling in line with cash flow. Review expense reports and petty cash reimbursements for compliance and proper coding.
- Prepare Daily Cash Position report and maintain the highest level of investment of excess funds in accordance with corporate guidelines as prescribed in the Accounting & Finance Manual.
- A list of all standing orders for electronic disbursements should be maintained with details of date of payment, payee, amount and description of payment and at the beginning of each month in advance of the standing payment, this list should be routed to the cheque signatories for approval and a copy attached to bank reconciliations.
- Apply USALI principles consistently across all financial reporting and analysis.
- Ensure alignment with corporate accounting standards.
- Support benchmarking and comparability across the hotel group’s financials.
What you need to bring
- Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance. Master degree is preferable
- 3-5 work experience in similar position preferably within the hospitality sector.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
- Proficient in MS Office; experience with Opera and Micros is considered a plus.
- Knowledge of ERP systems.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
