About us
ORA Hospitality is launching its flagship resort in Mykonos, Greece, scheduled for May 2027, and is currently building the team who will bring this project to life. The resort will mark the debut of a new ultra-luxury hospitality brand, currently under development. Located in the bay of Kalo Livadi, the property will feature 88 rooms and suites, alongside 5 private villas, specialty restaurants, wellness center, among other facilities.
ORA Hospitality is the luxury arm of ORA Developers, building a global portfolio of exceptional hotels and resorts designed to inspire how guests feel long after they leave. The collection includes the award-winning Silversands Grenada and Silversands Beach House in the Caribbean, with a growing pipeline of new destinations under development worldwide.

What you will do
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies that align with the hotel’s operational goals, budgetary constraints, and sustainability initiatives. Continuously evaluate procurement practices to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Source, negotiate, and manage contracts with suppliers to secure optimal pricing, favorable terms, and reliable delivery schedules. Build long-term relationships with vendors to ensure consistent quality and service.
- Supervise and collaborate with Storeroom Clerks to ensure all incoming merchandise is accurately dated, priced, and rotated. Maintain high standards of inventory integrity and freshness across all storage areas.
- Monitor all costs within the Purchasing Department and implement proactive measures to control spending. Regularly review expenditure reports and adjust purchasing plans accordingly.
- Work closely with operational departments (e.g., Kitchen, Housekeeping, Engineering) to understand their supply needs and ensure timely fulfillment.
- Coordinate with the Cost Controller to ensure alignment between purchasing data and financial reporting.
- Participate in scheduled inventory counts—daily, weekly, month-end, quarterly, and annually—for food, beverages, groceries, sundries, and operating equipment. Ensure accuracy and completeness of inventory records.
- Stay informed on industry trends, new suppliers, and emerging procurement technologies to continuously improve departmental performance.
- Provide training and guidance to junior staff or new team members within the purchasing and storeroom functions.
- Represent the Purchasing Department in interdepartmental meetings and contribute to strategic planning discussions.
What you need to bring
- Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance. Master degree is preferable
- 3-5 work experience in similar position preferably within the hospitality sector.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
- Proficient in MS Office; experience with Opera and Micros is considered a plus.
- Knowledge of ERP systems.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
