Role Overview

As an IBM WatsonX Platform Engineer at SILVARE, you'll help organizations unlock the power of enterprise AI by designing, implementing, and optimizing solutions across the IBM watsonx ecosystem. You'll work with cutting-edge AI technologies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and business-focused solutions for some of the world's leading technology companies.

This role spans multiple domains of the watsonx platform, including AI development, data engineering, AI governance, and orchestration. Depending on your expertise and interests, you'll contribute to one or more of these areas while helping clients accelerate their AI transformation journeys.

What You'll Be Doing

AI Engineers

• Develop and deploy Generative AI and Machine Learning solutions using IBM watsonx.ai.
• Build, fine-tune, and evaluate foundation models and large language models (LLMs).
• Design prompt engineering strategies and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.
• Integrate AI services into enterprise applications and workflows.
• Monitor model performance and optimize AI solutions for business outcomes.

Governance Engineers

• Implement responsible AI practices using IBM watsonx.governance.
• Establish AI risk management, compliance, and model monitoring frameworks.
• Define policies for model lifecycle management, explainability, and auditability.
• Ensure AI systems meet regulatory, security, and ethical standards.
• Create governance dashboards and reporting mechanisms for stakeholders.

Data Engineers

• Build and manage scalable data pipelines that power AI applications.
• Prepare, transform, and govern structured and unstructured data using IBM watsonx.data.
• Optimize data architectures for analytics, AI training, and inference workloads.
• Integrate data sources across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Ensure data quality, security, and accessibility throughout the AI lifecycle.

Orchestration Engineers

• Design and automate AI workflows using IBM watsonx Orchestrate and related technologies.
• Integrate AI assistants with enterprise systems, APIs, and business processes.
• Build intelligent workflows that streamline operations and improve productivity.
• Develop reusable automation components and orchestration patterns.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver seamless user experiences.

What You'll Bring

• Experience with the IBM watsonx platform, including one or more of:
• watsonx.ai
• watsonx.governance
• watsonx.data
• watsonx Orchestrate
• Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, Generative AI, and Large Language Models.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with modern software engineering practices.
• Familiarity with APIs, REST services, and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles.

Domain Expertise

• AI Engineering: Prompt engineering, RAG architectures, model tuning, ML frameworks, and GenAI application development.
• Governance Engineering: AI risk management, model monitoring, compliance frameworks, and responsible AI principles.
• Data Engineering: Data lakes, ETL/ELT pipelines, SQL, Spark, and modern data architectures.
• Orchestration Engineering: Workflow automation, conversational AI, enterprise integrations, and process optimization.
