Overall Purpose of The Job

  • To support strategic commercial engagement with V.Ships — across procurement offices and fleet cells — and other key accounts within the vessel performance category. The focus is on increasing the aggregation procurement volumes via the Marcas platform and delivering technical services and solutions such as fuel efficiency, decarbonization solutions from Seatec, including supporting dry dock project planning and preparation for both. The role bridges engineering and sales capabilities across V.Services' divisions, ensuring targeted offerings and uptake through proactive account management, project coordination, service delivery excellence and deep customer insight.

Key Responsibilities And Tasks

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans for V.Ships and other high-value customers, ensuring offerings from V.Services' divisions, increase share of wallet.
  • Engage with customers and their customers (e.g. ship owners, yards, technical managers) to understand operational needs and align solutions.
  • Coordinate internal engineering and sales resources to deliver tailored, high-impact proposals and vessel performance upgrades.
  • Support dry dock planning and execution, ensuring vessel performance initiatives are scoped, delivered, and tracked effectively.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams to ensure timely and quality execution of strategic initiatives.
  • Maintain structured governance and performance tracking through CRM and account review processes.
  • Promote V.Services’ brand and technical leadership in fuel efficiency and decarbonisation at industry events and customer forums.
  • Embody a proactive mindset: never assume – always assure, going the extra mile to deliver customer value and internal alignment.

  • Sales Growth: Revenue increase from strategic accounts across V.Services' divisions.

  • CRM C Governance: Quality of account data, planning, and review cadence.
  • Cross-Functional Engagement: Effective coordination with internal engineering, sales, and project teams.

Essential

  • Engineering degree (marine, mechanical, energy, or related field).
  • Strong interest and understanding of vessel performance, fuel efficiency, and maritime decarbonisation.
  • Experience in key account management, technical sales, or project management in the maritime or energy sectors.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Willingness to travel globally and work across time zones and cultures.
