We are looking for an Exports Area Manager APAC to join our Exports Department.
The role is responsible for developing and managing business opportunities across the APAC region, strengthening relationships with international distributors and business partners, and supporting the achievement of commercial objectives. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the role contributes to market expansion, business development, and the effective execution of export operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage relationships with existing international clients, distributors, and business partners across the APAC region.
- Analyze sales performance and customer results against agreed targets and KPIs, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and market share developments, providing relevant insights and recommendations.
- Implement export strategies to support business growth and the development of new markets.
- Negotiate commercial agreements and support business development initiatives in line with company priorities.
- Ensure effective financial management of customer accounts, including payment follow-up, currency considerations, and available support schemes.
- Monitor the end-to-end order process, including forecasting, production planning, transportation, and delivery.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and applicable import/export regulations.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities while supporting the growth of existing partnerships within the APAC region.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
- Master’s degree or MBA will be considered an asset.
- At least 4 years of professional experience in a similar commercial or export sales role, preferably within the FMCG sector.
- Experience in international markets and export operations.
- Experience in the APAC region will be considered an asset.
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Strong commercial acumen and customer-oriented approach.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to build and maintain effective business networks.
- Results-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Collaborative approach and ability to work effectively across teams.
- Availability to travel internationally.
