Lead Technology Projects at One of Greece's Most Critical Infrastructures

Athens International Airport is seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to support the delivery of strategic technology initiatives across cloud, infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, and digital transformation programs.

This is an opportunity to work within a highly complex operational environment where technology directly supports critical business and operational functions.

You will play a key role in managing large-scale projects, coordinating internal teams and external partners, and ensuring successful delivery across multiple technology domains.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex IT and technology projects

• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, and deliverables

• Coordinate technical teams, business stakeholders, external vendors, and partners

• Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into project deliverables

• Drive project governance, reporting, and executive-level communication

• Support procurement activities, including RFP and RFI processes

• Coordinate testing, UAT activities, and quality assurance processes

• Maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with PMO standards

• Contribute to infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, enterprise systems, and digital transformation initiatives

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in IT Project Management

• Proven track record delivering infrastructure, cloud, enterprise applications, or technology transformation projects

• Strong experience managing multiple stakeholders and third-party vendors

• Experience working within enterprise-scale environments

• Excellent planning, communication, and organizational skills

• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery methodologies

• Fluent English

Preferred Experience

• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, or ITIL certifications

• Experience within aviation, telecom, banking, utilities, transportation, or other mission-critical environments

• Experience managing projects involving cloud technologies, cybersecurity, enterprise platforms, or operational technologies
