Senior Financial Accountant

Team: Group Financial Reporting

We’re looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to join our Group Financial Reporting team. You will ensure accuracy and compliance of Group reporting with Group accounting policies under IFRS as well as drive continuous improvements by supporting relevant system and process enhancements. IN THIS EXCITING ROLE YOU WILL:

• Monitor the monthly submission of ‘actuals’ by our Shared Service Center / operations and perform relevant controlling activities

• Prepare the monthly management reporting deliverables as well as support ad-hoc reporting requirements

• Develop and improve financial reporting processes (incl. supporting relevant system enhancements) to better serve the organization’s information needs

• Support our Shared Service Center / operations in connection with monthly submission process and relevant deliverables as well as various accounting issues in line with Group Accounting Policies

• Actively support the preparation of the annual Consolidated Financial Statements in the context of the Integrated Annual Report as well as the quarterly Trading Updates / Press Releases in accordance with IFRS requirements

• Liaise with external auditors to ensure smooth audit process

• Comply with internal control requirements and maintain appropriate ICF documentation

• Participate in Financial Reporting projects / initiatives to facilitate business needs

YOU CAN BE SUCCESFULL IN THIS ROLE IF:

• 5 years’ experience in Financial Reporting or Controlling of a multinational organization or external audit

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration (MBA)

• A Professional qualification in Accounting (ACCA, ACA) completed or close to completion

• Solid knowledge of and working experience with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), preferably in the context of consolidated financial statements

• Strong knowledge of financial analysis and accounting expertise

• Experience in preparation of financial statements, process design / implementation and cross-functional collaboration

• Excellent command of the English language (verbal, written)

• Experience in working with SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (‘BPC’) would be considered an asset
