Senior Systems & Security Engineer

TicTac S.A. manages cybersecurity and IT infrastructure for 180+ clients with 6,000+ endpoints across Greece. We handle 2,000+ real incidents annually, specialize in ransomware response, and have been awarded Cyber Security Gold 2022/2023 and Services Provider 2023.

We are looking for a Senior Systems & Security Engineer — a hands-on infrastructure role with daily security responsibilities. This is NOT a pure SOC/analyst position and does NOT include 24/7 ransomware on-call rotation. You will own and secure the IT environments of our managed clients, reporting directly to the IT Director.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

• Manage Active Directory environments (users, OUs, GPOs, replication, trust relationships)

• Microsoft 365 administration: Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, licensing

• Entra ID: Conditional Access, MFA, identity protection, sync

• Firewall management on FortiGate and other platforms (rule audits, VPN, policy changes)

• Network administration: routing, switching, VLAN segmentation, Layer 1-7 troubleshooting

• Windows Server administration (2016/2019/2022): deployment, patching, roles, monitoring

• Hyper-V and VMware virtualization management

• Backup & DR operations: Acronis, Veeam, Azure Backup

• Security hardening on servers, endpoints, and network devices (CIS benchmarks)

• Patch management and vulnerability remediation

• Participate in security incidents: containment, system recovery, SIEM log source integration

• On-site client visits for deployments, troubleshooting, and incident support

• Document client IT environments and mentor junior colleagues

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

• 8+ years hands-on experience as System Administrator, Infrastructure Engineer, or IT Engineer

• Deep Active Directory knowledge: architecture, GPOs, replication, hardening, troubleshooting

• Microsoft 365 admin: Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, license management

• Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 administration

• Firewall administration: FortiGate preferred; WatchGuard, Sophos, Cisco ASA accepted

• Networking at CCNA level: TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLAN, VPN

• Security basics: patch management, hardening, identity protection

• PowerShell scripting for administration tasks

• Strong Greek and English communication (written and verbal)

• Valid driver's license and availability for on-site client visits

• CLI proficiency, not just GUI

• Azure administration: IaaS, networking, identity

• SIEM hands-on: Microsoft Sentinel, Wazuh, Splunk, QRadar

• Network monitoring: PRTG, LibreNMS, Zabbix

• Python or Bash scripting, zero-trust architecture experience
