Graduate Frontend Developer

We are hiring a Graduate Frontend Developer to build the interfaces that turn Gulf market data into usable commercial tools. We are currently developing a specialized commercial dashboard for a major European financial services client that operates a primary data hub in Greece. This fully remote, full-time position focuses on building the frontend components that connect our Gulf-region data with their analytics teams based in Greece.

What you will do

• Translate wireframes from Figma into functional React components for our advisory dashboards.
• Maintain and improve existing CSS to make sure our visual reporting is consistent across all client portals.
• Connect frontend components to API endpoints that pull in real-time GCC commercial data.
• Test web applications for performance and layout consistency across different mobile and desktop browsers.
• Work with senior developers to resolve bugs in the state management of our client-facing tools.
• Refactor code to help interfaces load more quickly for users on mobile networks within the Gulf region.
• Assist in the deployment of new features for our major European financial services partner hub.

What we are looking for

• A basic understanding of modern JavaScript (ES6+) and at least one library like React, Vue, or Angular.
• Familiarity with HTML5 and CSS3, including responsive design techniques.
• Some exposure to version control systems like Git for collaborative coding.
• Comfortable using Figma or similar design tools to extract assets and CSS properties.
• Ability to write clean, commented code that other developers can read and update.
• Strong logical thinking and a focus on how a user actually interacts with a data tool.
• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field of study.

Helpful background

• Experience with data visualization libraries such as D3.js or Chart.js.
• A general interest in the business news or economic trends of the Gulf region.
• Previous experience with TypeScript or Tailwind CSS.
• Exposure to basic backend logic or how databases are structured.

Employment setup
This is a permanent, full-time remote role with Gulf Associates, which is based in the United Arab Emirates. The position is paid and offers a consistent workload. We operate primarily during Gulf Standard Time (GST), and we prefer candidates who can maintain a significant overlap with these hours. This role is open to candidates based in Greece or other regions with similar timezone alignment. You will be responsible for your own remote work environment and hardware.
