SEO Manager

About the role:

We are looking for a data-driven and strategic SEO Manager to join our Commercial team at SKY express. In this role, you will lead the development and execution of the company’s end-to-end SEO strategy across traditional and AI-powered search environments, driving organic traffic, customer acquisition, and revenue growth across all markets. By combining technical expertise, content optimization, and cross-functional collaboration, you will enhance brand visibility, safeguard website performance, and contribute to the long-term organic growth roadmap aligned with business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and lead the SEO strategy, defining the roadmap, setting KPIs, and identifying priority markets and audiences aligned with business goals.
• Lead technical SEO activities, ensuring optimal website performance, crawlability, and indexability, while resolving issues in collaboration with Product and Engineering teams.
• Drive on-page and content optimization, defining best practices and translating keyword insights into actionable recommendations for Content and Brand teams.
• Build and strengthen off-page SEO presence, executing link-building and digital PR strategies while monitoring backlink quality and compliance.
• Lead AI Search & Answer Engine Optimization initiatives, ensuring consistent and accurate brand visibility across AI-powered platforms.
• Monitor and analyze SEO performance, tracking key KPIs and delivering clear insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners, ensuring alignment and continuous improvement based on industry trends and updates.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of hands‑on experience in SEO, ideally within e‑commerce, travel, or B2C environments.
• Hands-on expertise with GA4, Google Search Console, a leading SEO suite (Ahrefs, Semrush, Sistrix or similar) and a crawler such as Screaming Frog.
• Working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript rendering and structured data (schema.org), and how they impact crawling and indexing.
• Solid knowledge of technical, on‑page and off‑page SEO, with a strong understanding of emerging AI search and answer engine optimization (GEO / AEO) and related tooling.
• Fluency in Greek and English (verbal and written).
