UX/UI Designer

We at Nova, are a very young and dynamic team, the 2nd largest telecom provider in Greece, looking for an experienced and highly creative UX/UI Designer to join our Information Systems team.

You have a challenging mission to:

Drive the design of engaging, intuitive, and visually compelling digital user interfaces and the optimization of our digital customer journeys across our mobile applications, websites, and eCommerce platforms. You will play a key role in shaping how customers interact with our digital channels, also supporting critical journeys such as onboarding, plan management, payments, customer support and self-care.

The ideal candidate combines strong user-centered design principles with technical understanding and the ability to collaborate closely with product owners, business stakeholders, front-end developers and cross-functional teams, to deliver seamless digital experiences that support Nova’s mobile, fiber, TV and other services offered.

What will you do:

• Drive the end-to-end UX/UI design process for mobile apps, responsive websites, and eCommerce platforms.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and product owners to understand business goals and user needs, transforming them into intuitive and user-friendly experiences.
• Design intuitive, accessible, and visually appealing user interfaces aligned with brand guidelines and business objectives.
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs using modern design tools such as Figma and others.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of the design systems, component libraries, and style guides.
• Participate in user research, usability testing, and continuous UX improvements.
• Collaborate closely with front-end developers to ensure accurate, pixel perfect implementation of designs.
• Ensure designs are technically feasible and optimized for performance, scalability and accessibility.
• Stay up to date with UX/UI trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
• Collaborate and consult with other UX and graphic designers and contribute to design strategy and innovation.
• Deliver simplified and delightful user experience, consistent across all touchpoints.
• Work closely with conversion optimization specialists to explore quantitative data and contribute to optimizing conversion rates, digital adoption, and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure consistency across all digital touchpoints, including mobile apps, web portals, and eCommerce.

It would be great if you have:

• 4+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design for mobile apps, websites, and eCommerce platforms.
• Graduate in UX or/and Graphic design, interactive design, or a related field
• Expert proficiency in Figma and other design and prototyping tools (Adobe XD, Sketch, InVision, Illustrator, etc.).
• Strong portfolio of UX/UI design solutions for mobile Apps and mobile-first websites, and successful delivery of complex digital products and journeys.
• Strong understanding of UX principles, usability, accessibility, and user-centered design.
• Experience with eCommerce platforms and conversion optimization.
• Advanced knowledge on design systems and component-based design.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles.
• Experience working closely with front-end developers in agile environments.
• Ability to manage stakeholders and to clearly communicate design concepts to both technical and non-technical peers.
• Clear and effective communication skills in English (written and verbal).
• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities and work in complex, cross-functional environments such as telecoms.
• Self-motivated with a proactive mindset.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
