Application Consultant

We are seeking an Application Consultant with strong expertise in financial and accounting management systems to join our consulting team. The successful candidate will work on IT projects with a primary focus on financial and accounting modules, mainly in projects for the public sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the analysis, design, and implementation of ΙΤ solutions with emphasis on financial and accounting modules.
• Gather and translate business requirements into functional specifications in collaboration with client stakeholders.
• Provide consulting and support services to clients during all project phases (requirements gathering, configuration, testing, training, go-live, and post-implementation support).
• Work closely with project managers, developers, and other consultants to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops for end-users to ensure effective system adoption.
• Stay up to date with system advancements, accounting standards, and public sector IT practices.

Requirements & Soft Skills

• Minimum 3 years of proven experience as an IT Consultant in information systems, with a focus on financial/accounting modules
• University degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
• Strong understanding of accounting and financial management principles
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to translate technical functionalities into business language and vice versa
• Team-oriented, with the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
