Junior IT FrontEnd Developer

The Position:

Reporting to the SO IT Web & Ε-Commerce Administrator you are responsible and accountable to:

• To create new and update existing pages for all standard and mobile websites (GR/CY/BG), as required
• To implement new technologies that will enhance website performance and user experience
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of front‑end applications (web and responsive interfaces)
• Implement UX/UI designs in line with approved design guidelines
• Participate in code reviews and adhere to coding standards
• Document basic features and code changes
• Support existing applications and gradually take ownership of new features
• Support online campaigns, special offers, and mobile/app-related projects
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and other departments
• Basic knowledge of Google Ads, GA4, Google Search Console, and SEO

Qualifications:

• University Degree (obtained or near completion) with a technical-scientific specialization with a preference for Computer Science and Information Technology
• Basic knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+)
• Familiarity with at least one front‑end framework (e.g. React, Angular, or Vue)
• Understanding of responsive design principles and cross‑browser compatibility
• Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress, Sitecore, similar or custom CMSs)
• Understanding of content structure, templates, and publishing workflows in a CMS environment
• Basic experience with Git and version control
• Willingness to learn, good organizational skills, and a team‑oriented mindset
• Ability to understand and follow technical requirements and instructions
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Achievement drive, initiative taking and problem solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and strict deadlines

Qualifications considered as an asset:

• 1 year experience in similar position
