About the position:

We are looking for an Accountant to join our Finance team.

What will you be doing:

• Balance sheet reconciliation
• Analyse P&L accounts and comment variations
• Assist in the financial year-end closing process
• Report local figures according to group guidelines
• Prepare various tax returns (VAT, VIES, Withheld payroll tax etc.)
• Ensure general reconciliation with Mydata system
• Intercompany reconciliation
• Support external/internal audits
• Ensure all DA/Project accounting completed in time and analysis of work in progress (WIP) accounts
• Comply with local Laws/ regulations and with requirements from external parties
  
  
  

Qualifications

• University level degree in accounting and/or finance
• Minimum 8 years’ experience. Experience in the Shipping services sector is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of Greek accounting and tax framework
• Solid experience with e-Invoicing, myDATA, and ERP automation
• Strong understanding of internal controls and compliance
• Exposure to month-end procedures, intercompany transactions desirable
• Fluent English (written and spoken)
• Greek – professional or native level
• Good MS Office skills particularly strong capabilities in MS Excel.
