Senior Data Engineer

Everllence Hellas Ltd is looking for a Senior Data Engineer. The role requires you to work independently with strong ownership, while thriving in a collaborative, international team environment. You’ll build and maintain reliable data pipelines and ELT/ETL systems that power analytics, AI, machine learning, and data products across the organization.

We can offer you the following tasks

• Shape the future of our digital solutions that boost performance, cut costs, and reduce emissions for global clients.
• Design, build, and test scalable components for our next-generation digital platforms.
• Collaborate with industry experts to develop and maintain advanced tools and analytics for monitoring engine fleets.
• Innovate and experiment: Use our dedicated Innovation Friday to pitch ideas and drive meaningful change.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable ELT/ETL data pipelines on our lakehouse to power analytics, AI/ML, and data products.
• Develop robust data models (dimensional, medallion/lakehouse) that ensure accuracy, performance, and reusability.
• Ensure data discoverability, security, and governance in close partnership with Data Governance, Security, Product, and Platform teams.
• Establish observability (monitoring, alerting, logging, data quality checks) and contribute to platform operational excellence.
• Innovate and experiment: Use our dedicated Innovation Friday to pitch ideas and drive meaningful change.

You Can Help Us With These Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software/Data Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience building highly available, cost-efficient data platforms and pipelines at scale.
• Primary: Databricks, Spark, SQL, Python, data modelling / lakehouse design, AWS & ETL/ELT.
• Secondary: Workflow orchestration (Databricks Workflows, Airflow, Argo or similar), Kafka, cloud storage.
• Nice to have: Kubernetes, platform migration experience, observability tooling
• A growth mindset: curious, adaptable, and committed to continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
• Excellent communication skills in English and a collaborative approach to international teamwork.
• Self-driven, results-oriented, and a true team player.
