Test Engineer in Securities (m/f/d)

We are looking for a Test Engineer senior in Securities to work for our client, a private bank based in Luxembourg. It would be either on site in Luxembourg or remotely from our Greek office in Athens.

Responsibilities

• Authorisation of transactions booked by your peers (Securities Trades)
• Opening of new Securities in the systems
• Follow-up of failing trades, escalations,
• Contact custodians, for reconciliation purposes or event clarifications
• Communication with Eurobank Group for inquiries and investigations
• Check and release miscellaneous reporting: internal, customers (i.e. mail) and regulators (i.e SFTR)
• Monitoring of Suspense and Nostro accounts linked to Securities activity
• End of Day and Start of Day Operational Controls
• Coordination with Treasury Section of Back-Office (TBO)
• Support any other tasks related to Securities within the team
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience.
• Fluent in English.
• Organised with the ability to set priorities, work with tight deadlines and pay attention to details.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good analytical skills.
• Good Knowledge of Swift MT messages (MT 54X) is required. (MX messaging would be a plus).
• Competent in handling of MS Office applications, especially advanced Excel.
• Multitasking.
• Knowledge of T24 programs developed from Temenos Group will be considered to be a plus.
