Senior Business Analyst / Product Owner – Android POS & Acquiring Solutions

Role Summary

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with strong Agile/Scrum delivery experience to drive analysis and scope definition across complex payments initiatives involving multiple products, systems, platforms, and acquiring hosts, with a dedicated focus on Android POS. The role will translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements (BSD/BRD, scope definition, user stories), align stakeholders and solution architecture, and support delivery through strong ceremony ownership and proactive risk/open-item management.

Key Responsibilities

1) Business Analysis & Requirements Definition (Cross-Project)

• Produce Business Solution Documents (BSD) and Scope Definition documentation for major initiatives spanning multiple systems/platforms and acquiring hosts.
• Lead and facilitate discussions on Scope Definition and BRD with solution architects, stakeholders, and customers.
• Clarify customer needs and define the customer’s “why / what / how” on major projects, ensuring alignment and traceability.
  
  

2) Product Ownership & Agile Delivery (Android POS)

• Define the Product Solution for the Android POS product and ensure coherent evolution across affected applications/systems.
• Create and maintain high-quality User Stories for Android POS, including dependencies and impacts across integrated systems.
• Actively participate in (and help optimize) Agile/Scrum ceremonies to close open items, reduce risk, and facilitate delivery.
  
  

3) Solution Definition & Architecture Support

• Define involved systems on major projects and document their roles and boundaries.
• Create system diagrams illustrating components, interactions, and interfaces.
• Translate business requirements into technical solution direction, including overall structure, component interactions, and system interfaces.
  
  

4) Delivery Governance, Risk & Impact Management

• Track and highlight open items, critical points, and new solution processes, ensuring visibility and timely decisions.
• Assess and communicate corresponding impacts, and produce a prototype solution based on provided material when needed to validate feasibility and approach.
  
  

Deliverables

• BSD, Scope Definition, and BRD contributions/ownership
• Epics / Features / User Stories (Android POS) with acceptance criteria and impact notes
• System context & integration diagrams (interfaces, dependencies, component interactions)
• Open items / risks / decision log and delivery follow-ups through ceremonies
• Prototype solution artifacts to illustrate “to-be” process/flow where appropriate
  
  

Scope Areas (Non-exhaustive)

Work may include initiatives such as:

• Support for MOTO (Mail order / Telephone Order) functionalities
• Payment Facilitator mandates
• VISA/MC DCC mandates
• DeepLink enhancements for 3rd-party applications
• IRIS / DIAS IRIS service enablement on Android POS devices (e.g., PAX/SDK/CASTLE)
• Merchant-specific customizations (e.g., offline transaction customization, PIN verification, barcode receipt enhancements)
• Preauthorization lifecycle support (cancellation, VOID variants) and Android POS upgrades
• Centralized parameters & local settings management (e.g., nTPMS)
  
  

Required Experience & Competencies

• Strong experience as a Senior Business Analyst in complex, multi-system environments
• Proven hands-on delivery within Agile/Scrum teams (backlog refinement, sprint ceremonies, prioritization)
• Excellent documentation skills (BSD/BRD/Scope), stakeholder management, and facilitation
• Ability to model systems and integrations (context diagrams, interface mapping) and communicate effectively with architects and engineers
• Strong analytical skills to assess impacts, manage dependencies, and drive resolution of open items/risks
• Experience in payments/acquiring, POS ecosystems, transaction flows, and merchant/acquirer integrations
