Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to the menu and the Executive Chef’s instructions.
  • Maintains consistency regarding the preparation and presentation of all menu items.
  • Ensures that all ingredients received by stores and suppliers are up to standards.
  • Effectively allocates work to subordinates.
  • Follows all necessary policies and procedures relating to HACCP guidelines.
  • Must be able to follow and implement all company’s policies and procedures.
  • Performs related duties and special projects as assigned by the Kitchen department.

Qualifications

  • Proven, continuous experience in a similar role, in a luxury hotel.
  • Very good knowledge of Cold Kitchen for big volume banqueting operation.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized culinary institute.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of current culinary trends and techniques.
  • Very good knowledge of the Greek and the English language.
  • Available to work nights and weekends.
