Job Summary

Ethniki Asfalistiki is seeking for an Insurance Business Partner to drive the development and adoption of data and AI solutions, bridging insurance teams and technical stakeholders to enable data‑driven decision‑making, pricing optimization, and product innovation in line with regulatory and business requirements.”.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the vision, roadmap, and adoption of insurance data and AI products aligned with actuarial, underwriting, and business strategy.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to identify data needs and deliver solutions that generate measurable business value.
  • Act as the key liaison between insurance stakeholders and technical teams, translating business and actuarial requirements into scalable data solutions.
  • Promote the use of high-quality data to support risk assessment, pricing optimization, portfolio management, and product performance insights.
  • Ensure insurance data and AI products comply with regulatory standards and governance frameworks while maintaining accuracy, consistency, and traceability.
  • Partner with data, AI, and governance teams to build secure, scalable data pipelines, analytics tools, and AI-driven underwriting and pricing solutions.
  • Manage and prioritize the insurance data and AI product backlog based on business impact and strategic objectives.
  • Define success metrics, monitor performance, and continuously optimize pricing, risk models, and portfolio outcomes using analytics and AI.
  • Enable self-service analytics and promote a data-driven culture through stakeholder engagement, training, and awareness initiatives.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Actuarial Science, Insurance, Finance, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience working with insurance data, actuarial models, underwriting analytics, and regulatory reporting within the insurance industry.
  • Solid understanding of insurance processes and data domains, including underwriting, pricing, claims, and actuarial modelling.
  • Knowledge of insurance regulatory frameworks and governance requirements (e.g., Solvency II, IFRS 17).
  • Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and working knowledge of SQL, APIs, data pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, IBM Cloud).
  • Experience with data governance and cataloguing tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica) is considered an asset.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex insurance and actuarial concepts into actionable data and AI solutions.
  • Analytical mindset with a strong focus on data accuracy, regulatory compliance, risk transparency, and driving data‑led innovation.
