Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Reservations Agent to join our teamunder the guidance of the ReservationManager. The ideal candidate will handle guest inquiries viaphone and email, manage reservations, and assist with various administrativetasks to ensure seamless coordination with other hotel departments. As a keypoint of contact for guests, you will need to be highly knowledgeable aboutroom types, amenities, and hotel policies to provide accurate information toboth new and returning guests.

Key Responsibilities:

Responding to guest inquiries via emailand following up on requests.

Answering phone calls related to roomreservations and modifications.

Recording and updating bookingsusing Pylon PMS.

Monitoring room availability andadjusting as directed by the Reservation Manager.

Updating room rates based on managerinstructions.

Managing electronic filing andrecord-keeping.

Delivering the day's arrival reservationsto the front desk.

Recording daily customer paymentsin Pylon PMS.

Performing cash flow checks and reconciling payment links/e-commerce transactions withPMS records.

Providing daily updates to the Reservation Manager onworkflow and progress.

Assisting in tracking guest paymentsunder the manager's guidance.

Supporting the issuance of invoices fortravel agents.

Assisting with monitoring hotel listingson IDS platformsand websites.

Communicating with the Guest Experience Manager, Food & Beverage Manager,and Hotel Manager regardingspecial requests and guest requirements.

Organizing site inspections in coordinationwith the HotelManager upon agent request.

Forwarding incoming emails to relevantdepartments, including promotional materials, marketing content, and othergeneral inquiries received via the info emailaddress.

Qualifications and Skills:

Previous experience in 4- or 5-star hotels is required.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook.

Familiarity with managing online IDS platforms or a strong aptitude for learning online tools.

Knowledge of Pylon PMS is preferred; experience with any PMS software is essential.

Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-team environment.

Strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service, even if prior SLH hotel experience is lacking.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to stay focused under pressure.

Genuine interest in customer service, with a warm and professional demeanor.

Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.

A cooperative, positive attitude with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
