Childcare Manager

Location: Ouranoupolis, Halkidiki

Position Summary

The ChildcareManager is responsible for the overall operation and management of theChildren’s Club, ensuring that all children are cared for in a safe, secure,and nurturing environment. The role involves delivering an engaging, fun, andage-appropriate programme of activities while maintaining the highest standardsof childcare, hygiene, and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests and theirchildren receive the highest standard of childcare at all times, maintaining asafe, clean, hygienic, and stimulating environment
• Organise, manage and overseethe Kids Club for children aged 4 years and above
• Lead, supervise and support ateam of nannies/childcare staff, adopting a flexible approach and stepping inwhen required
• Plan, coordinate and deliver avaried programme of indoor and outdoor activities suitable for different agegroups
• Organise and supervise weeklyoff-site excursions and resort-based activities
• Coordinate eveningentertainment and special events during peak weeks (July and August)
• Oversee and supervise childrenduring lunchtime, ensuring a safe and calm environment
• Prepare and manage staff rotas,daily cleaning schedules and work plans for the childcare team
• Ensure all policies, proceduresand safeguarding standards are implemented and followed at all times
• Maintain accurate dailyrecords, accident and incident reports and ensure all required documentation isup to date
• Work closely with the hotelmanagement team and attend weekly management meetings as required
• Act as a key point of contactfor parents, addressing queries, feedback and any concerns in a professionaland reassuring manner
• Ensure full compliance withhealth and safety regulations, childcare legislation and company standards

Requirements:

• Pre-school teachingqualification, Degree / Diploma in early childhood education / Degree inEducation
• Preferred 1-2 years of experiencein a similar role
• Excellent knowledge of Englishlanguage; a second language (German, French or Russian) will be highlydesirable
• Love and ability to work withchildren aged between 4 months upwards
• Pleasant, outgoing, warm, caringand pro-active personality
• Leadership skills – ability tolead a well-motivated childcare team
• Excellent guest relations andinterpersonal skills
• EU Passport, ID or dualnationality
