Food and Beverage Manager

Location: Ouranoupolis, Halkidiki & Thessaloniki

*During the winter season thecandidate will be working at our premises in Thessaloniki

Position Summary

The Food and Beverage Manager will have to leadand motivate all food and beverage teams ensuring consistency and highstandards of customer service across the Resort. Thisposition allows for great growth and development within the Resort. The mainobjective is to maximize sales and revenue through customersatisfaction and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish targets, KPI’s,schedules, policies and procedures according to corporate standards, developplans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work
  • Monitor F&B costs andrecommend measures to control them when needed
  • Work with Food and Beverageleadership team and Service Manager to determine areas of concern and developstrategies to improve the department's financial performance
  • Ensure that all departmentalproject milestones are met and adhering to the approved budgets
  • Prepare daily, weekly andmonthly revenue and productivity reports for management information and improvethe profitability of all F&B outlets
  • Conduct audits in Food andBeverage departments to ensure proper recording of revenue
  • Participate in menu designpreparations, food tasting, costing and implementation of menus and wine lists
  • Prepare the weekly workschedule of all Food and Beverage Department employees
  • Participate in the training ofemployees, identify and analyze training needs and perform appraisals
  • Ensure the smooth operation ofall Food and Beverage outlets; handle operational problems
  • Preserve excellent levels ofcustomer service; respond to all guest requests / complaints
  • Prepare reports for managementinformation and improve the profitability of all F&B outlets

Requirements:

  • Degree / Diploma in HotelManagement
  • Minimum 3-4 years’ experienceas a Food & Beverage Manager preferable within a 5* Luxury Hotel
  • Excellent knowledge of English language; a second language (German ofRussian) will be considered as a plus
  • Computer literacy (Excel andFidelio) and experience in financial systems (Entersoft, Micros Pos andTwinsoft)
  • Outstanding communicationabilities, strong leadership, stress management and financial skills(budgeting, forecasting)
  • Pleasant personality withenviable customer service skills, passionate about the job and focused onproviding high quality results
