As part of our growthstrategy, we are strengthening our commercial buying capabilities for commodity raw materials.

The Role:

We are looking for a Commodity Buyer to manage the commercial buying of commodity raw materials from non-exclusive international suppliers.

This role is fully focused on buying and sourcing activities, based on price benchmarking, supplier comparison and contract negotiations.

Import operations, logistics coordination and customs clearance are handled bydedicated internal teams.

You will own thebuying decisions for specific commodity categories, working closely with Sales and Supply Chain to secure competitive prices, reliable supply andflexible commercial terms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the commercial buying of selected commodity raw materials from international suppliers
• Conduct market research and price benchmarking across alternative suppliers
• Compare offers and select suppliers based on price, availability and commercial terms
• Lead commercial negotiations (pricing, payment terms, contract duration, volumes)
• Manage spot buying and contract buying, depending on market conditions
• Monitor commodity market trends and price movements
• Maintain strong commercial relationships with non-exclusive suppliers abroad
• Present buying proposals and price comparisons to internal stakeholders
• Work closely with Sales and Planning to align buying decisions with business needs

What We Are Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Commodity Buyer, Sourcing Buyer or Commercial Buyer
• Experience in international supplier markets (Europe / global)
• Strong background in price-driven buying and supplier benchmarking
• Experience with non-exclusive suppliers and alternative sourcing options
• Strong negotiation skills and commercial mindset
• Experience in Food Ingredients or Chemical Commodities is highly desirable
