Senior Olive Oil Buyer, Greece

In a nutshell

We are looking for a Senior Buyer with a proven track record in commercial roles within the olive oil market—either buying or selling. This is a high-impact role that will work closely with our international sales teams and the entire leadership team. Your success in securing a diverse, reliable, and competitive olive oil supply will directly enable Wikifarmer to scale its operations, expand into new markets, and accelerate our international growth.

Day-to-day responsibilities:

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with olive oil suppliers, including regular meetings, price negotiations, and contract management.
• Collaborating closely with the wider commercial team across Europe to align supply with customer demand and provide strategic recommendations.
• Ensuring excellent CRM (HubSpot) hygiene and accurate record-keeping.
• Monitoring and reporting on market trends, pricing developments, and relevant industry insights.
• Working with the Wikifarmer product team to provide feedback that supports continuous improvement of our digital platform.
  
  

Experience and requirements necessary to be successful in this role:

• A minimum of 8 years of commercial experience (buying or selling), including at least 2 years specifically in the olive oil market.
• A proven history of working directly with olive oil suppliers.
• Fluency in Greek and English at a business level.
• A valid driving licence and willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time.
• A technical background or degree in agronomy is a strong advantage.
