Accounting Manager – Short-Term Rentals & Property | Athens, Greece (Hybrid)

Red Berries is a fast-growing international property management and hospitality company operating short- and medium-term rental assets in Greece.

We are seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager to establish, structure, and run the accounting function in-house.

This role is fully responsible for accounting, tax compliance, reporting, and financial control across Red Berries' activities.

Role Objective

The Accounting Manager will:

Build the accounting department from scratch

Define processes, controls, and workflows

Ensure full compliance with Greek law and STR regulations

Act as the financial backbone of the company

Απαραίτητα Προσόντα:

Key Responsibilities

Establish and manage the full in-house accounting function

Full responsibility for TAXISnet

Handle all taxes and filings:

VAT

Environmental / accommodation tax

Withholding taxes (if applicable)

ENFIA

Payroll & social security

Issue invoices, management fees, and rental documentation

Reconcile bank transactions and platform income

Monitor booking channels, PMS data, and revenue accuracy

Prepare financial reports and management KPIs

Review pricing policy and identify legal tax optimizations

Ensure compliance with Greek short-term rental (AMA) regulations

Requirements

Years experience as an accountant in STR / property / hospitality

Strong hands-on experience with Greek tax law and TAXISnet

Ability to work independently without external accounting support

Very good Excel / Google Sheets

Very good English
