System Administrator

Athenian Mattress Company is currently in search of a highly motivated and experienced System Administrator to join our dynamic team at Markopoulo Attica.

Athenian Mattress Industry is supported by a robust andcontinuously expanding distribution network, currently comprising approximately400 retail points, 2,700 hotels, and multiple e-commerce platforms.

Role Purpose

As a System Administrator, one willensure the integrity, security, and smooth operation of our IT infrastructureon company premises and its retail network of 39 stores on a national scale.

Key Accountabilities

• Manage, maintain, and optimize core IT systems and infrastructure, including Microsoft 365, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, and endpoint security
• Manage software licensing, procurement, and asset tracking, ensuring cost-effective, compliant usage of hardware and software across the organization.
• Provide hands-on technical support to ~200 local and remote team members across multiple locations, resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
• Administer and secure Cisco network devices including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Lead incident response and resolve system or network issues efficiently.
• Follow ITIL best practices for incident, problem, and change management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support retail applications and infrastructure.
• Document IT processes and maintain compliance with company policies and standards.
• Management of external partners and IT service providers.
• Evaluate, recommend, and implement infrastructure improvements, staying current with emerging technologies to support business growth and resilience.

Απαραίτητα Προσόντα:

Skills Required

• Bachelor's degree in computer science orrelevant field.
• Over 5 years’ experience as a SystemAdministrator or similar role in a retail or enterprise environment.
• Expertise in Microsoft 365 administrationand support.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco networkcomponents, network security principles, and protocols.
• Solid understanding of ITIL framework andexperience applying ITIL processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills andability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication skills and ability towork collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• CCNA, CISSP, and Microsoft certificationswill be considered as a plus.
• Very good knowledge of English.
