Inter Cars Greece is interested in appointing a Payroll Assistant for the Payroll Department in the Athens Metropolitan Area.

Responsibilities

Execute monthly payroll, validate reports, and ensure compliance with legislation.

Manage employee lifecycle changes (hires, terminations, transfers) and maintain HR/payroll records (IBANs, leave, shifts, overtime).

Administer compensation & benefits programs, including health insurance, allowances, and employee perks.

Support budget planning, payroll forecasting, and workforce analytics.

Handle expense verification, travel advances, and annual actuarial valuation.

Ensure compliance with HR policies, labor law, and audit requirements.

Maintain legal documentation (contracts, safety & hygiene, evacuation drills, HELLECON updates).

Prepare regular and ad hoc HR/payroll reports for management and HQ.

Draft HR policies, internal communications, and contribute to process improvements.

Requirements

BSc degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.

1– 2 years of professional experience in HR Payroll, Compensation & Benefits, or similar role.

Solid knowledge of Greek labor law, payroll regulations, and ERGANI system

Very good knowledge of MS Excel and other MS Office applications.

Experience with HRIS/ERP systems (knowledge of JIRA will be considered an asset).

Excellent command of English and Greek (written and verbal)

Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving skills.

Team-oriented, with strong organizational and communication skills.
