Marine Project Officer

We’re hiring | Marine Project Officer – Marine Programme  

The Argosaronic Environment Foundation (AEF) is looking for a Marine Project Officer to support the coordination and delivery of locally based marine conservation projects across the Argosaronic region. 

This is a hands-on, coordination-focused role combining project management, stakeholder liaison, and community engagement. You’ll work closely with local communities, grassroots and partner organisations, contributing to impactful, community focused marine conservation actions. 

Key details 

 Remote (based in Athens or the Argosaronic region) + regular travel 

 Full-time | 1-year consultancy with possibility of extension 

 €22,000–€24,000 gross/year 

 Start: February 2025 

We’re looking for someone with: 

• A background in marine / environmental fields 

• ~5 years’ experience in environmental project management 

• Strong organisational & communication skills 

• Fluency in Greek & English 

• Comfort working remotely and travelling regularly
