Position: Brand Manager, Betty Crocker Brand Development Team
Location: Athens, Greece
Type of Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
The Role
Operating within the Betty Crocker Brand Development Team (BDT), the Brand Manager (BM) will focus on the development and delivery of EUAU Innovation projects (lead markets UK and Australia) and Margin Improvement and Sustainability projects across lead Betty Crocker markets (Middle East, UK, Australia).

The Role
Operating within the Betty Crocker Brand Development Team (BDT), the Brand Manager (BM) will focus on the development and delivery of EUAU Innovation projects (lead markets UK and Australia) and Margin Improvement and Sustainability projects across lead Betty Crocker markets (Middle East, UK, Australia).
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Betty Crocker Brand Development Team head, the key responsibilities of the role are:
- Margin Improvement and Sustainability
- Own and deliver margin improvement annual targets and build pipeline for key markets.
- Build thorough product knowledge of Betty and category, across ingredients and performance.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams across regions in Technical/Plant/Ingredient Sourcing/Consumer Research teams to ideate, evaluate, advance and test all potential routes.
- Connect with Sustainability team to understand market regulatory needs and design to deliver.
- EUAU Innovation
- Partner with UK and Australia local marketing teams to develop selective local plans where it makes significant impact. Provide timely input on category strategy and innovation pipeline.
- Act as a Brand/Portfolio SPOC for Category on strategies, consumer initiatives and lead business reviews for UK and Australia markets. Provide necessary inputs to the annual planning process.
- Maintain an awareness of competitor marketing activity and be proactive by looking for opportunities and propose big ideas to the business.
- Track initiatives and recommend corrective action, if necessary.
What sort of person we need
- University degree in Marketing, Business or related field
- 5-8 years of strong Consumer Marketing experience with leading FMCG or other related companies/industries
- Strategic mindset on how to develop and optimize consumer propositions.
- Excellent project management. Attention to detail is important.
- Clear understanding of the broad spectrum of P&L management
- Proactive and motivated demeanour to act autonomously and inspire team to move quickly. Strong leadership skills in stakeholder management and strategic influencing. Ability to navigate in a matrix and align teams around one common goal
- Experience of working in a Development/Activation marketing team structure. Able to work effectively across boundaries, cultures and languages.
- Clear understanding of the importance of grounding plans in a clear category growth strategy
- Strong English language skills are a requirement. Additional language skills are an advantage
