Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and manage housekeeping staff, ensuring efficient operations and quality service.
• Inspect guest rooms, corridors, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
• Ensure proper inventory management of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment.
• Train and motivate housekeeping team members.
• Manage and oversee room assignments, guest requests, and the overall guest experience.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain health and safety standards in all housekeeping activities.
• Handle guest complaints and requests related to housekeeping services in a professional manner.
Requirements:
• Education: Tourism diploma or equivalent required. Additional certifications in hospitality or management are a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in housekeeping, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role, preferably in a luxury hotel.
• Proficient in using housekeeping management software and MS Office Suite, with desirable knowledge of the Opera PMS and the ability to easily adapt to new technologies.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in using housekeeping management software and MS Office Suite.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Ability to handle sensitive guest issues with discretion and professionalism.
