Job Description

So, what are the main responsibilities of the AI Principal Architect in Netcompany?

Joining us as the AI Principal Architect, you will be a technical leader responsible for defining and driving the architecture, strategy, and implementation of advanced AI solutions across the organization. You will lead the design and deployment of production-grade LLM chatbots, AI agents, and knowledge-driven AI systems, while mentoring engineering teams and shaping MLOps practices.

You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, data scientists, engineers, and other teams to translate complex business requirements into innovative AI products and solutions. Your deep expertise in Generative AI, LLMs, vector search, RAG pipelines, and cloud AI architectures will be critical in guiding the organization's AI strategy and enabling scalable, reliable, and reusable AI systems.

As the AI Principal Architect, you will:

• Define and implement the AI architecture strategy, including LLM-based applications, RAG pipelines, vector search, embeddings, and AI agents.
• Lead the design, deployment, and scaling of production-grade LLM chatbots and AI agents across multiple business domains.
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to fine-tune LLMs, optimize prompts, and enhance model performance.
• Drive innovation in Generative AI by evaluating new tools, frameworks, and methodologies for adoption across teams.
• Establish and promote best practices in MLOps, including model monitoring, evaluation, versioning, and lifecycle management.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning, excellence, and technical rigor.
• Work with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into practical AI solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Partner with platform and solution architecture teams to integrate AI capabilities into existing data platforms and cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure).
• Advocate for AI ethics, responsible AI deployment, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

What would make you a fit for the role:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, with at least 5 years in architectural or leadership roles delivering enterprise-scale AI solutions.
• Proven track record in designing, implementing, and deploying production-grade AI/ML solutions, particularly LLMs and Generative AI systems.
• Expert in LLMs, Generative AI, prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, embeddings, and vector search.
• Experience with fine-tuning large language models and developing advanced prompt engineering strategies.
• Strong experience in mentoring, guiding, and leading AI engineering teams.
• Ability to translate complex AI concepts to business and technical stakeholders.
• Strong strategic thinking with ability to define long-term AI technology vision and roadmap.
• Passion for keeping up with the latest AI research, techniques, and cloud technologies.
• Ability to identify opportunities for innovation in AI product development.
• Deep understanding of cloud AI platforms (AWS, Azure) for scalable, reliable AI deployments.
• Knowledge of MLOps best practices, including CI/CD for AI models, model monitoring, and lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with AI development frameworks and libraries such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, Haystack, Hugging Face, and AI red teaming tools.
