Associate Lawyer – Dispute Resolution

KG Law Firm, a multidisciplinary, leading Greek law firm dating back to the 1930’s and recognized as one of the most prestigious law firms in Greece, is seeking to recruit a motivated Associate Lawyer to join our Firm.

Main responsibilities:

• Conducting legal research.
• Consulting with clients, gathering evidence and analyzing information.
• Offering advice to companies and private clients on matters of civil responsibility.
• Conducting all pre-trial activities.
• Drafting and filing with the Courts various pleadings and motions.
• Representing clients in Court cases / trials / at all stages of civil lawsuits.
• Negotiating settlements. 
• Experience in criminal law will be considered a plus, but is not required.

Main Qualifications / Personal Characteristics

• Bachelor’s degree in Law.
• Master’s degree in Civil Law, Civil Procedure.
• Qualified as an attorney-at-law in Greece.
• Proven track record of 3–5 years in civil law and procedure, with a strong commitment to learning and staying up-to-date on current developments in legal practice.
• Excellent command of the English language (both oral and written).
• Analytical and drafting skills, clear and concise writing, attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and conflict-resolution skills.
